Moto X now available on Flipkart

After the overwhelming response for the budget smartphone Moto G, The most awaited android phone Moto X from Motorola has been launched officially in India. Yes, It runs on the world's most powerful mobile platform: Android. It has been launched in India by the national online business leader : Flipkart. Flipkart has officially made a contract with the Motorola for launching Moto G and Moto X in India.

Pricing?

The pricing has been efficiently done so that it gives a tough competition to other smartphones in the same range from other giants like Apple, Samsung, Nokia and LG. This phone (MOTO X) costs Rs. 23999 for White , Black, Royal Blue , Turquoise and Red colored back polycarbonate plastic finish and Rs. 25999 for Teak and Walnut wood back finishings.

What's Hot?

The phone arrived in 2 days from flipkart and here is the picture of the blue version which I had ordered.
MotoX

The most interesting feature is it's touchless control. All you need to say is "Okay, Google Now" followed by what you want you phone to do. One more cool feature is it's Active Display, which shows all notifications at a single place.
The phone is very handy and also awesome in looks. Talking about the specifications, the phone has got a 10MP rear camera with a 2MP front camera. It has 2GB of RAM in it with 2,200 mAh battery, 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and micro-USB 2.0 support. Also, Flipkart is offering free 50GB free space on Google Drive.

What's not?

Unlike Moto G (which had it's 8GB and 16GB variant), Moto X has been launched only in it's 16GB variant in India.  Unfortunately, features like the ONLINE STUDIO MOTO MAKER will not be available for customers in India (A feature that allows users to customise their Moto X devices with over 2,000 possible combinations). Also, It is a single SIM phone, unlike MotoG which was Dual SIM.

The bottom line : BUY THIS PHONE, It's worth it. :)

For some sneak peeks, The Motorola has confirmed the launching of the successor of MotoX which will be launched as MOTO X+1 in the market soon. Agencies say that it will have a back leather cover and will be launched in August this year.

ANDROID VS IOS

ANDROID VS IOS
Who wins the race?

SUBJECT
ANDROID
IOS

5,00,000+
DEVICES
HUNDREDS

NETWORS
4G
HSPA+

3rdparty  APPS
ICLOUD

THE RACE!!
The race between GOOGLE and APPLE is competitive enough and a learning for all those struggles in life over the world. The god of internet GOOGLE has launched its OS – ANDROID which has hit the market and pushed IOS back to very extent. No wonder APPLE is the brand name and you can blindly trust the APPLE products. But off course the brand followers are the rich ones who have the money at their finger tips. Considering the fact that the ratio of the rich to average people are 1: 4 Google the master mind did its job silently and grabbed the market.

android vs apple

* In just 2 years ANDROID store has 350k APPS.
* Hundreds of devices and still more are opting ANDROID as it is not more expensive than those 200k devices used for the same purpose.
* The VOICE RECOGNITION pattern in IOS devices is natural voice encryption but ANDROID has command encryption voice recognition.
* The ICLOUD feature in IOS is remarkably excellent. You have to use equivalent third party software/app for the purpose- (DROPBOX is trying its best to make the same available)
* Google search is limited for ANDROID users. Other search engines like bing, yahoo are not available to them (not at all a big issue).
* ANDROID APP store is vast but not as vast as the APPLE store. Here APPLE wins the race. But in no time Google will take over here also.

So what’s the count folks??

HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD ANGRY BIRDS?

No doubt the best entertaining source has made remarkable number of users and fans around the world. Its origin also came from ANDROID (huh! +1 for android here too)
IOS has gained reputation from IPHONE 4S which encouraged the people and their demands- for the same reason IPHONE 5 is most awaited after STEVE JOBS death. The pre-booked count for I phone 5 is enormous. Thus the race can be referred as the race between the two most renowned personalities LARRY PAGE and STEVE JOBS.  Moreover IOS has to provide $4.5Google revenue.

You can make your job easier by the voice recognition service. You offer them to call your friend by their name and the job is done. The natural voice recognition is provided by IOS devices not by ANDROID devices (+1 for APPLE)
you can set your alarm, save your files, set the password in just no time – that’s the power of voice control system. Also the Google app inventor helps you to write your own apps which is much convenient. This is not available for other OS.
The developers however prefer to make IOS apps as they have already been stabilized in the market ad will be much difficult for them to switch over. So the new developers have their chances to prove them. The competition is on its rise. According to the developers the ANDROID apps are less complicated and have improved features which take nerves to do so in IOS.
So now the task is yours to decide which is better?

New Satellite to Give Satellite Internet a Boost

technology, internet service, satellite internet

More than 10 million Americans lack access to high-speed Internet. Well, HughesNet is going a step further this year and giving Americans access to Jupiter.

Jupiter is a next-generation spacecraft that is being launched later this year by HughesNet, one of the nation’s biggest and most influential satellite Internet providers.

SPACEWAY is the current HughesNet dedicated satellite, but the new $400 million Jupiter satellite will be able to transfer data even faster than SPACEWAY can. HughesNet has said that with this new satellite, download speeds have the potential to reach 20 megabits per second – about 10 times as fast as the current rate. These speeds will allow users to download pictures, videos and emails at a rate that far surpasses the current speeds
.
HughesNet and satellite Internet cater to the needs of residents that live outside of urban areas, where cable and DSL don’t reach and where dial-up is a last resort. Most cable companies don’t see a profit in extending to regions that aren’t highly populated, since cable companies thrive on packing many residents onto the same signal. HughesNet satellite Internet accommodates those that get overlooked by cable and DSL companies and gives a bright alternative to dismal dial-up speeds.
To get satellite Internet, there are only two conditions. One, you need to live in the lower 48 states and two, your home needs to have an unobstructed view of the southern sky. If you meet those requirements, then you are eligible for satellite Internet.
The way it works is really a simple process. You have a satellite at your home, which sends signals to a satellite in space (for HughesNet it will soon be the Jupiter satellite). The satellite in space then relays the signal to the provider’s office back on Earth. This whole process takes somewhere around 250 milliseconds. All in all, about one second of wait time.
That wait time can cause a choppy connection if you are playing video games or video conferencing, but if you are looking to send and receive emails, shop online, download music etc., satellite Internet can get the job done.
HughesNet is making a big leap with the imminent launch of Jupiter, and is just another step toward making the Internet accessible to users in remote areas. In the next couple of months, look for HughesNet and Jupiter to make a big splash.
